Join us to learn about the art of papermaking! From novice to advanced, we have a paper class for you.

Intro to Paper: No prerequisites or previous experience necessary
Advanced Beginner and Indigo: Must have completed Intro to Paper at MHC
Paper Club: Must have completed at least two Intro to Paper classes or have permission from instructor.
All paper making classes taught by artist Allison Roscoe.

Paper Club: Cottonized Flax with Allison Roscoe
Tuesday, July 21, 9 am - 12 pm
Join Allison for another summer Paper Club, this time to make crisp, strong archival-quality paper from flax that has been cottonized through mechanical and chemical processes. There will be an opportunity to add colored pulp to create beautiful handmade paper for your next project! This paper club session is open to anyone who has taken Intro to Paper with Allison at Mānoa Heritage Center. Join us!
For intermediate papermakers and above. You must have taken Intro to Papermaking with Allison at MHC to join the paper club. Participants will be responsible for helping to set up and clean up.
Participants must be able to pick up the finished paper July 22-24 between 9-3 pm.
Limited to 6 participants; minimum of 4 to run paper club.
