Join us for a lā‘au lapa‘au (traditional Hawaiian medicine practice using plants) workshop with Sister Malia Wong using pōhinahina (Vitex rotundifolia). A native indigenous plant, pōhinahina leaves are used in lei and have a nice herbal fragrance that deters bugs. Not only is pōhinahina a beautiful ground cover, this plant is used in lā‘au lapa‘au.
Participants will make a pōhinahina lotion.
