Presented by Trees for Honolulu's Future, Hanafuda Hawai‘i, and Mānoa Heritage Center, we are happy to invite you to join us for an innovative and place-based educational workshop exclusively for teachers from schools in the Mānoa area. This collaborative project aims to enrich local educators with culturally rooted environmental education tools centered on tree literacy, climate resilience, native and non-native plants and animals, and cultural storytelling through gameplay. The workshop will include gameplay, lesson plan development, and a tour of Mānoa Heritage Center's native garden.

  • Includes a classroom kit with cards, posters, instructions, and other teaching aids
  • A $100 stipend
  • Boxed lunch

Free to participate with registration.
