Schools Out Summer Special! With students on summer break, visit Manoa Heritage Center at 8:30 am instead of in the afternoon. Join us on June 28, July 19 and August 30 in the morning to beat the summer heat. Tours are by reservation only with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 12. For groups with less than 12, additional guests may be added to your tour.

Tours include a pleasant 60-90 minute outdoor guided walk through a garden of Native Hawaiian and Polynesian introduced plants; broad views of Mānoa Valley; a close look at Kūkaʻōʻō Heiau, (an ancient Hawaiian sacred agricultural temple) as well as the history of Kūaliʻi, the private Cooke family residence, which will one day be open to the public as a historic house museum.
