WATERSHED CAMP - Fall Intersession 2024 We are looking for students aged 11-14 interested in learning about the role of our watershed in sustaining life on our islands through a hands-on curriculum grounded in Hawaiʻi’s natural history, ecology, and botany. Over the course of the week, each student will receive: A native plant (ʻilima or ʻuala) Reusable tote Kāpala stamp Basic Hoʻolauna (introduction) in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi Knowledge of place (mokupuni, moku, ahupuaʻa, wai, ua) Basic knowledge of a watershed and how it works Opportunity to connect/work with other students MON OCT 7 - FRI OCT 11 8:30 am - 2:30 pm Open to students ages 11-14 (Grades 6-8) Weeklong camp: $100 ($20/day) *Lunch on Wednesday, Oct 9 will be provided and all additional materials included.
